We’re delighted to announce that we have achieved three internationally recognised certifications: ISOs 9001 (Quality), 14001 (Environment) and 45001 (Health and safety).
Milestone achieved for Eden Facades in quality assurance
We’ve been able to demonstrate to an outside regulator, QMS, that we have high standards in quality, environment, and health and safety. Reaching this milestone marked the positive conclusion of a stringent certification procedure and an extensive external evaluation.
What is ISO, and why is it important?
ISO is an association of national standards agencies that formulate and promote international quality assurance standards. It standardises and advocates quality in a range of areas covering nearly all industries, from the built environment to food quality to public health and product classification.
These accreditations further harmonise professional standards across nations and strengthen the confidence in companies for professionals and the public at large.
Our ISO accreditations mean that when you choose to work with Eden Facades, you’re dealing with a business that’s undergone a review by a recognised third party for each subject.
So, you can be sure you’re partnering with people who take quality, the environment, and health and safety seriously and can prove it.
What does each accreditation mean?
· Quality (9001)
ISO 9001 is a process of quality accreditation. It demonstrates that a business can perform its operations consistently, punctually, and accurately thanks to meeting a specific series of processes. Certification proves that a company administers its processes rigorously and meticulously from beginning to end.
At Eden Facades, every time we research or work on a contract, we always want to know that things are executed to the letter. While some of these demands are laid down in statute, the ISO 9001 certification shows that we go that extra mile to ensure our procedures are up to scratch every time.
· Environment (14001)
This accreditation acknowledges an organisation’s commitment to regulating the environmental consequences of its business through quantifiable goals, including waste disposal and further minimising power consumption.
Other key objectives include minimally reducing resource use by processing eco-friendly and recyclable materials that are not hazardous to health and conserving water, power, and natural resources.
Caring for our planet and avoiding negative environmental effects from our operations are two significant concerns organisations must address today.
Among the most significant advantages of adopting such a practice is the reward of being among those enterprises that value the importance of reducing their environmental impact.
This environmental consideration can bring even better relations with clients and our communities.
· Health and safety (45001)
As the premier global standard addressing health and safety in the workplace, ISO 45001 accreditation offers a clear, standardised outline for companies aiming to raise their health and safety profile.
Led by an organisation’s top management, it aims to create a safe and healthy workplace for employees and visitors.
To reach such a high degree of health and safety, managing all elements that could contribute to sickness, injury, and, in exceptional circumstances, fatality is vital.
This is accomplished by alleviating adverse impact on a person’s bodily, mental, and cognitive well-being; ISO 45001 encompasses all of these factors.
‘Known for our quality work’
Tony Hill, Eden Facades Managing Director, said: “We welcomed the auditors in to see how we do business because we knew we’d been working very hard to maintain high standards. The process took four days for stage one, then another three days until completion.
“At Eden Facades, we’re known for the quality of our work and attention to detail, but it’s good to have our work reviewed officially to show that we take quality, the environment, and health and safety very seriously. When clients work with us, they see that we’re meeting the criteria set by an internationally recognised organisation in these areas.
“We’ll be subject to an annual review for these accreditations, and we look forward to the next time.”
Comfortable collaboration
As a company always looking to show its high standards, Eden Facades is proud to have achieved ISO accreditation in three significant areas. But we aren’t intent on stopping here.
We’ll continue to improve by streamlining our processes more, reviewing employee and client feedback, and keeping a close eye on regulatory changes.
Working with Eden Facades is about trusted partnerships. We know our clients feel comfortable collaborating with a business that has been rigorously assessed and given such a prestigious international certification.
