This November, two members of the Eden Facades team are growing their moustaches for a great cause, raising awareness and funds for men’s health through the annual Movember campaign.
Paul Michaelson, Construction Director and Co-founder of Eden Facades, and Michael Dillon, Facades Estimator, are taking on the month-long challenge to support Movember, a global charity dedicated to improving men’s health.
Speaking about taking part, Paul said:
“I’m really pleased to be taking part in Movember and supporting such an important cause. Working in construction, we’re all too aware of the worrying statistics around mental health and suicide in our industry. It’s something that affects far too many people, and we all have a part to play in raising awareness and encouraging more open conversations.
“Supporting worthwhile causes is something we’re proud of at Eden Facades, and Movember is a great opportunity to do just that while raising money to help people who need it. Hopefully, we can raise a good amount for the charity and make a difference. Every donation, however small, helps, so please get behind us and give what you can.”
Movember focuses on three important areas: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Through fundraising, awareness campaigns and community initiatives, the charity encourages conversations about men’s health, supports those affected and funds projects that make a difference.

Throughout November, Paul and Michael will grow their moustaches and encourage colleagues, friends, and industry contacts to support their fundraising efforts.
As Michael joked in his original LinkedIn post, whether their moustaches will be worth showing off at the end of the month is another question entirely!
While the challenge adds an element of fun to the workplace, the message behind it is important.
