Orwell Quay, Ipswich

Products: Wetherby A2-rated insulated render system; Cedral Click cladding as a rainscreen system; Proteus A2 rated spandrel panels; Alideck A1 rated aluminium decking system; James & Taylor terracotta tile system

Scope of work: Having worked with R G Carter previously on a cladding remediation project in Colchester, we were brought on board again for our latest project with them in Ipswich.

Our scope includes installing replacement cladding and fire barrier replacement/rectification to two high-rise occupied residential blocks on the quayside. Our team will be replacing the existing insulated render system timber cladding and timber decking with new fire-rated systems.

Bungay School, Reading

Main contractor: Kier Construction

Products: Metsec SFS; Timber rainscreen cladding

Scope of work: We are delighted to be working alongside Kier Construction once more, this time we will be installing SFS infill to a steel frame for a new build two-storey school structure.

Our team will be installing the sheathing board and insulation, followed by Thermowood timber rainscreen cladding. Once the project is complete the additional facility will allow the school to increase its capacity.

Greyfriars School, Reading

Main contractor: Ash Contracting

Products: Metsec SFS; Insulation and brick tie channel

Scope of work: Our team will be on site in Reading with main contractor Ash Contracting, working on the project for this new build school structure which involves installing SFS infill to a steel frame. Insulation and brick tie channels will be used to support the brickwork façade.

Grange School, Harrow

Main contractor: Lengard

Products: Wetherby insulated render system

Scope of work: In our first job for main contractor Lengard, our scope for this education sector project is to install the Wetherby Insulated render system as part of the refurbishment of an existing school, whilst the school is in use.

Sub-contract value: £100k – £200k

When: Summer – Autumn 2022

H&F Spandrels, London

Main contractor: Kier Places

Products: Rockpanel rainscreen cladding to replace existing non-compliant cladding

Scope of work: Working with Kier Places for the first time, our scope for this project is to replace the existing isolated cladding panels on the existing high-rise residential blocks with a new A2 fire-rated rainscreen cladding system, including fire barriers. The blocks will be occupied throughout the project, and we will work closely with Kier Places to ensure any disruption to the residents is kept to a minimum.

Frampton School, London

Main contractor: Neilcott Construction

Products: Eurobrick brick slip system

Scope of work: Our team will be installing the Eurobrick X Clad brick slip system to the existing masonry walls of this London school. X-Clad is a brick faced external wall insulation

(EWI) system, indistinguishable from traditional brickwork, but lightweight – ideal for modular, new build and retrofit projects.

Sub-contract value: £50k – £100k

When: Autumn 2022
