At Eden Facades we are committed to operating as part of a supply chain that is focused on working in a sustainable, environmentally viable way. We take pride in working in a responsible and transparent way, to ensure the continuous development of sustainable processes.
Environmental
At the planning stage of our projects, we take the necessary time to ensure efficient purchasing and optimise the cutting of facade and cladding boards, which helps us minimise wastage. In cases where the client’s wastage factors seem excessive, we advise them on more efficient alternatives.
By working collaboratively with clients, we can limit the number of deliveries and lower fuel consumption, which provides additional environmental benefits.
We aim to reduce paper waste by utilising online processes and technologies whenever feasible. This includes conducting online meetings in place of in-person meetings where possible, which can help minimise paper usage.
Social
Responsible supply chain sourcing involves the ethical and sustainable procurement of goods and services from suppliers. It ensures compliance with human rights and environmental regulations while minimising negative impacts on local communities. Our approach promotes transparency, accountability, and fair labour practices while improving the long-term sustainability of supply chains.
We work closely with contractors who commit to building frameworks that support investment into social value.
Through apprenticeships and staff training, we promote knowledge, skills, and practices that support sustainable business operations. With a responsible corporate culture, we want to improve environmental performance, and promote social inclusion and diversity.
Governance
Our ISO accreditations demonstrate that we have undergone a thorough evaluation by a reputable third-party. This means that when you work with us, you can trust that we prioritise quality, environmental responsibility, and health and safety, and can substantiate our commitment to these values.
Being a part of the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) means our health and safety policies, procedures and practices have been assessed, and shows our commitment to providing a safe and healthy working environment for employees and customers.
As a Solid Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency (SWIGA) registered installer, our customers have peace of mind knowing that SWIGA offers a 25-year guarantee on the quality of the insulation work carried out by their registered installers, providing reassurance that the work is of a high standard and will last for many years.
All our employees have achieved a CIEH Level 2 Award in Environmental Principles and Best Practice and can demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of environmental issues and commitment to improving environmental sustainability.
Our in-house SHEQ team implement systems and practices that not only ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for safety, health, environment, and quality, but that also help to manage risk, reduce environmental impact and improve efficiencies.
